But where do they sleep for naps...?
Post Body

We have been doing contact naps since birth, and our little guy is now 7mo. We have been trying to find a nanny (long story) and are struggling with 1) finding people who are totally open to the idea of contact naps and not shaming about him not sleeping alone in a crib already and 2) when we do eventually transition to more independent naps, where to put him! Currently, we did transition him out of his bassinet at 6mo to his sidecar crib in our room for night sleeping. I don't really want to move his crib out of our room yet for night sleeping. But we only have a pack-n-play in his room and the rocking chair we rock him in for daytime contact naps. During the day, he wakes up immediately when we try to set him down. The PNP seems rickety and very likely that he will wake up if we try to get him to nap in it. What do other people do if the crib is in their bedroom? To make it harder, I am still working from home and work out of our bedroom during the day so the nanny can't use it for naps. Open to any ideas or experiences you can share!
