How would a buyout effect current shareholders?

Post Body

I’ve never been in this situation before where I got in early on a stock with this level of potential. With a buyout likely, what are the possible scenarios/outcomes shareholders could expect?

Two avenues really: 1. Cash buyout. Every ATOS share is set to a fixed price; you sell your stake and make PxQ. 2. Stock buyout. Every ATOS share is granted X shares of PFE or whoever’s doing the buying. You can either hold or sell at that point.

Or some combination of those two.

Who knows what they may come up with. Quay is on record saying Atossa’s buyout (if one occurs) would likely happen after P2 with a P3 plan already worked out with the FDA. Maybe in the same vein as Eli Lilly, our buyer could stipulate a lofty price upon FDA approval. ::shrugs::
