I had to make the tough decision to cancel my trip for Thanksgiving because of COVID. It’s the right decision but one that’s hard to accept as it’s my first Thanksgiving away from my family. I was curious what will be open during the day? Coffee shops? Restaurants?
I’m new to Atlanta so don’t have any friends or family I can hang out with so want to see how I can distract myself from feeling alone.
Edit: If anyone knows of any volunteering opportunities on Thanksgiving, that would be great! I figured that can be a good way to keep myself busy.
