Haven't fully read it since my early twenties. Dusted my old copy off after years of it sitting on my bookshelf and remembered how it affected me back then. Always been a painfully slow reader, frequently doubling back to absorb and digest. Interested to re-explore Thoreau's insights as someone who is older than he was when he penned them. Thought it would be nice to meet up with others who are reading, re-reading, or who are familiar with it in scholarly or otherwise personal way, and exchange thoughts over coffee or lunch. I live near the Publix on Jefferson, and occasionally use the upstairs lounge for a reading nook. Open invitation to anyone interested in that or exploring other books.
