To preface this question/post I would like to say that I am still relatively close to the beginning of the game. So my view/opinion is going to be ill informed.

Now on to my question.

How is Ryza as liked as she is?

From the get go she comes across as really selfish. Sure she has a point and wants freedom, but it seems like she will pretty much do whatever she wants.

Case in point, her mom/dad. They want her to help out at the farm but she is always rude and selfish.

Does she stay this way?

In hindsight, a lot of the protagonists of the games I’ve played are either overtly selfish, or not.

Like while understandable. Firis is kind of selfish. Only really thinking about herself.

To end this I’ll ask.

What are your views on the Atelier Protagonists? Do you find any to be selfish?
