So my HDMI cable was playing up and I pull the top off the Cable Management plastic away from the stand to remove it and swap the cable. I replace it clipping bottom bit in first then the top. Only the top isn’t working, on closer inspection the lip has turned into what I can only describe as bendy plastic and has broke, but not come fully away.
It’s still got three years warranty left so I contact ASUS who say their cheap plastic cable management cover isn’t replaceable under warranty. So I ask how much one will be, they don’t supply them. They give me a parts company to contact. Long story short, they don’t supply them either, but they’ll supply the whole stand for £64.54 inc delivery. Yeah right so it can break again for no reason whatsoever? I don’t think so.
