Astro A50 gen 4 headset wont connect or turn on

My Astro Gen 4 A50s suddenly stopped working. It doesn't turn on in general. If I set them on the base station the orange light will come on for a second, the base station will flash as if the headset is connecting, then the headset turns off and wont turn on. no white light or anything.

I have tried hard resetting the headset while the base station is connected, using the cord connected to the base station to the headset and hard resetting, and also hard resetting while it was on the base station. Any other troubleshooting I can do?
