Sleep deprivation leading to astral projection while awake?

Hereā€™s a little background: I have astral projected a few times before. Having said that, I know how to put myself into the sleep paralysis state and feel comfortable/familiar with the sensations that come with sleep paralysis and inducing it.

So last night I had stayed up studying for an exam I had this morning. I ended up sleeping at 6:30am. I usually donā€™t get so tired even if I stay up all night but the monotony of my math studies made me incredibly tired. I was in a trance like state trying to absorb as much information as possible. At around 5:00am I started to think about how tired I was. It was at this moment that I stared at my computer screen and unintentionally put myself into a meditative state. I was fully awake and could see everything around me. As I got deeper I got into this mind-state I lost more and more feeling of my body. I noticed this and thought it was so weird because the same exact thing happens to me as I am trying to induce sleep paralysis so that I can astral project. I eventually completely lost feeling. The ringing in my ears that I always hear became significantly louder, just like what happens to me as get closer to astral projection during my astral projection ā€œprocessā€. At the same time this was happening, my vision started to become distorted, similar to those shroom POV videos you can find on YouTube. I felt that I could almost astral project from that state, even though I was awake. I eventually snapped out of it as there was a slight feeling of parsnip creeping up on me (similar to the fear one may feel while in sleep paralysis). This whole experience lasted about 3 minutes. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Or astral projected while awake? My exhaustion was the main reason I was able to get to this state. Very interesting experience.
