I go by the name Phoen喵x. I'm a level 47 player on Server 4. I am one the of the few unfortunate idiots with the title "Black Cat" (as well as two other badges), but I don't blame misfortune in the gatcha system for it.

Just to be clear, I don't dislike the game. In fact, it's really the complete opposite. I've been playing this game ever since its official launch, even preregistering ahead of time. I think the waifus are cute, and the combat system is different from other turn-based games and decently interesting. The community is generally nice to one another (Although some randos seem to be lucky AF with their triple SSRs). And, in general, I find myself enjoying the daily grind. I haven't played many gatcha games before, except FeH for some time. I've been playing every single day, maxing out most of the events, quests, etc. I have a few decent characters (Athena 1, Neth, PandoraZ, ThatonetankwithexcessivelylargebreastsIdunnohername, Newton, Kamiko, Undine 1, and a random gold VeVe sitting around) , a 70-80k power team, and am ranked somewhere in the top 500 on my server.

There's just one major problem.

Every time I play the game, after an hour, my phone starts heating up like crazy. I can feel it burning my fingers. I have a case on the phone, and when I take it off, it feels like I can cook eggs on the back of the thing. I own an iPhone 7, so it's not an extremely old model. There's nothing running in the background. Just Astral Chronicles. I have no idea what's going on.

This heat problem just makes it impossible to play. I'd like to keep my fingers at a normal human temperature, and not as blackened sticks.
