Post Body

Hi all,

So in recent months I've been really quite anxious about a few things. I've multiple electrocardiograms to check my heart, and the doctor is happy everytime.

I currently take a single puff of Symbicort every night, and don't take a puff in the morning. I'm 26, only slightly overweight, and I've been a PhD student who sits down all day for a long time. I've not exercised properly since 2014, but have made attempts in recent years to complete Couch to 5K. If I take a puff of my blue inhaler, I still struggle to jog on a treadmill for longer than 10 minutes.

Here is an example from tonight. I went up and down the stairs 5 times (going up 55 stairs total), one set straight after the other with no break. It leaves me feeling winded for a couple of minutes, but I can still feel that I've done it for about an hour. I've always gotten dizzy when standing up from crouching, sitting for a long time, and sometimes at the top of the stairs, I'll get lightheaded for about 10 seconds. I'm really freaking out that I have pulmonary hypertension, and that these symptoms can't be attributed to my asthma. I almost never get a wheeze or a cough with my asthma.

Do other people struggle with this?

Many thanks and I would appreciate any replies.
