Howdy fellow wheelers. Let's start off by saying I suffer from anxiety. In the past year, I've been diagnosed with asthma due to allergies. I take montelukast at night and a 24 hour (generic) alegra in the morning, that has been routine even tho I miss a dose every once in a while. I also have an albuterol inhaler which I thought was ok to use everyday, but Dr said that's troublesome. She then had me do a course of a steroid inhaler to get my wheezing and other symptoms under control. I've since done this and while it has helped, I still have bad days. I'm finding each time I wind up needing my inhaler, I'm 100% gonna need it the next day. It's hardest to breathe at night and sometimes I can't fall asleep, but I'm afraid of using my inhaler too much. I'm unemployed with no health insurance and I'm just plain scared yall. My Dr said not to use the inhaler but once a week and I try but I. can't. breathe. Hoping someone out there has had a similar experience and can help me ease my mind...
TLDR: I have anxiety about using my inhaler too frequently, but suffer if I abstain.
