In short, my county decided to reduce my food stamps to only $49/month despite my only income being SSDI (less than 1k/month) and I was informed that it would change next month. Well, surprise, they changed it this month. Of course it also happened after I spent the last of our money on a vet bill after he was attacked on Saturday morning leaving me with $1.61 in my account. He is out of his wet food and toppers and I don't get paid until Friday. I planned to use my food stamps to buy chicken and ground turkey to supplement his food, but now I can't. I don't care about myself right now. All I need is food for him.
