If you get a letter from the IRS this week do not panic (like I did and many neighbors I have did) -- It is just letting you know that the IRS has $xxxx in their records they paid you, and you can use that number to see if you are eligible for another credit (the recovery rebate credit).
Don't ask me what that means, I just want the word to spread that those letters are NOT scary and we can open them without panicking :)
Mods, feel free to rewrite or take down but I think this board can help spread the word the letters are benign :)
