Can someone help me with converting pounds sterling to US dollars on PayPal?

Post Body

Quick back story: someone suggested that I take surveys on Proflic.com to help earn a tiny bit of extra cash. And it's a solid option--you can earn anywhere from about 10¢ to 80¢ for taking surveys that only take a few minutes, and which are moving science and scientific research forward. The only problem is, when I cashed out, they sent me my earnings in GBP and I live in USA. I do NOT have a computer. Only an iPhone 7 that was given to me last year.

I have around £9 which converts to about $12 before any conversion fees. I found myself trying to donate to someone who posted here, and I'm unable to do so, because I have to cash out PayPal first, and donate to gofundme via my own bank card. And I'm lost. Usually I'm pretty tech savvy, having been born in '89 and having grown up in the USA--I literally grew up with the internet, as IT grew up. But I'm totally at a loss and I don't know what to do.

Google says I need to change my conversion settings (Payments > Manage Pre-approved Payments > Set Available Funding Sources,) but makes it clear that I find this option by logging in on a computer. So do I have ANY other options, considering that I'm mobile only? Besides getting someone else to log in and do it for me?
