Post Body

I live on the coast of North Carolina and it’s looking like Dorian is gonna hit us hard. It’s showing a Cat 2 or 1, but honestly... our town doesn’t do good with even a 1. (Check out images on Google for Lumberton and Wilmington NC).

My husband only gets paid once a month, and we both are transitioning jobs to our local sheriffs office (different departments). He starts the 3rd, I start the 9th. With how the state shorted him on his final check and us already paying bills, we’re in a bit of a rough spot.

I created this “Screw off Dorian” list in a last ditch effort for some help getting last minute things. I don’t have the resources this go around to evacuate, and with 10 animals it’s even harder. Thankfully my dad fronted a generator for us, but these things will ensure my fur-children have extra food and such and are taken care of (they’re my main concern — don’t come at me about them not being kids, they’re the only “family” we have in this state and I will literally go without before they ever do.)

If you can’t afford something on here or just want to donate an Amazon gift card, that’s totally fine as well. Any little bit helps at this point, though I expect nothing. If you are able to send something, THANK YOU. Please let me know or send me your wish list and I’ll be happy to pay it forward.

Thank you all. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1LOBQBBEDEE2I?ref_=wl_share
