Background

My brother committed suicide last March. In the year prior to his death, he struggled financially, and I spent a lot of time supporting him. This meant rent, bills, food, all of it, and helped him try to get a job. I eventually convinced him to come back home and flew him back (LA to Ireland), and helped him get established, while also paying for a roof over his head. However, it was too much. Even when I gave him lists of what to do each day, I guess he was just done with it. I know he appreciated it and he always knew he could depend on me - no matter what the cost. I'm sad that he never could confide in me that he was going to kill himself and was planning it for .. 2 months? And all the help I was giving him, was him just slowly getting his affairs in order. (Turns out he relapsed on his drug/alcohol addiction and was hiding it from us after being clean for 11 years)

Sometimes people just have a bad few months and need help to be dug out, without any prejudice. That's what I want to offer.

• Short term goals and a plan to work on. Sometimes it's hard when you're overwhelmed with so much crap. I can help you break them down into bite size mini plans.
