I have exhausted resources in my area and now I am here.

I'm a mother of 4 children ages 8,7,5, and 3.

I am not here to request money or gift cards but we are in dire need of food right now. My husband is a hard worker and he is the sole provider of our family. I lost my job at the beginning of November due to health reasons and then less then a week later we gained full custody of my step daughter. It was very sudden and we had no time to prepare ourselves financially.

We have went to local food banks, and most we do not qualify for as they needed things we did not have like a lease with our names on it. We live with a family member so we are not on their lease. We did find a food bank that gave us a couple small bags and told us could come back for more in February which is great but with 4 growing children those 2 bags didnt stretch very far.

I feel embarrassed to have to ask for help but this isnt about my pride its about feeding my kids and I would be so grateful for any help that we could receive.
