“I would love to up my cooking game. I’ve made over 1000 recipes from all over the world, but can always learn new skills. Cooking is life.”
Who or what inspires you to cook? My family and my love of trying new things inspires me to cook. I took over cooking for my wife about 15 years ago and never looked back. Both she and our six kids have favorite dishes that are always in rotation. But, I also try at least a few new recipes each week. Lately, I have been learning more about world cuisines and exotic ingredients.
What's your all time favorite dish to make? That is a hard one to answer. It often depends on what mood I'm in or how much time I have. But, I do like Shepherd's Pie, Potato Leek Soup, Pork & Prune Brandy Stew, and Chicken Diane with roasted brussel sprouts.
What would you do with the $25,000? Renovate our 70 year old kitchen. It still has the original cabinets which should be replaced. As well, the floor and countertops are not conducive to an ideal kitchen.
