Edit: My Amazon Wishlist

I’ve lived with my parents for the past five years taking care of my dad who is disabled. They have been emotionally and physically abusive my whole life and I have been crippled by anxiety my whole life and unable to work outside the home.

Tonight the shit hit the fan as my mom started a fight and tried gaslighting me, and I got sucked in. Then my dad, who hasn’t hit me in years, actually got up and started coming to hit me. I have family nearby, so I left and got my brother to pick me up.

I get (frankly) a LOT OF food stamps, so for the time being I will be able to survive, myself. However, I have a 70 pound beagle mix, Dixie, who is my emotional support animal. She’s my best friend and has saved my life over and over. In order to keep her where I’ll be temporarily staying, I need a crate to be able to crate her, and I need dog food. If I dare to leave her at my parents house even overnight, I’m terrified she’ll be gone when I get back. My brother and his wife let me bring her tonight without a crate, so she’s safe and I know they can’t kill her or drop her off at the humane society, but I’m desperate for a solution here.

I’ve been looking at crates on Amazon and I’m so overwhelmed, I don’t know what to even ask for. I looked for her dog food (just Purina dog chow) and the prices on Amazon are EXORBITANT. If anyone has any suggestions or can help in any way I’ll be forever grateful.
