One of the things I struggle the most with as a man with autism is getting off on the right foot. It's a little like dancing with someone with two left feet: the more you get used to their quirks, the easier it is to dance! I'm not a bad dancer by any means; I'm just different! Would you be willing to practice with me?
Personally, I don't mind my condition that much. It gives me a different perspective on life, allows me to notice things that most others don't, and you'll rarely find anyone who thinks the same way I do. Another quality to being autistic is that once I form a meaningful bond with you, my love and devotion will know no bounds!
Fun fact: autistic people tend to be either be asexual or hypersexual. This is true for me, and I'm not asexual! We can talk more on kinks once we're both comfortable, and there's no need to rush this at all! For now I'll just say that I'm gender neutral (not non-binary) and lean slightly towards (soft) sub. I can do one, the other, both, or neither. But that's neither here nor there.
Though I'm a total softy on the inside, my exterior is enough to stave off unwanted attention. I stand tall at 6' even, and my shoulders are so wide that it made my high school football coach jealous. You will feel very safe standing next to me! I am a little on the chubby side, but I've lost over 60 pounds since I started getting back in shape. I maintain a healthy looking face with a proper diet, and I have "good boy" energy!
I currently live on my own with disability income I earned from military service, so I have plenty of free time to get to know you! My step-dad convinced me I didn't have autism before I enlisted, so I never thought it would result in me coming out with an anxiety disorder. I get free healthcare and therapy at least. On the whole, I'd say my life is quite stable and comfortable! :)
Treat my hobbies as more of a conversation starter than a requirement for dating me. If none of these interest you, it's fine! I'm open to picking up new ones too.
My main hobby is playing video games! Some of my favorites are Undertale, The Witcher 3, Baldur's Gate 3, Final Fantasy IX and X, and Terraria! Yeah, I'm very much an RPG fan! Other genres I enjoy are platformer, action adventure, OWSC, simulators, and roguelite. I can be talked into FPS, though it's not my forte.
I haven't watched a lot of anime recently, but I can get back into it if I have someone to watch it with. I thought the Cyberpunk anime was pretty dope! My favorites are Steins;Gate, Gintama, Clannad, Re:Zero, Gurren Lagann, and Rurouni Kenshin! Like many other 90s kids, I first got into anime with DBZ and Sailor Moon, Pokemon was my first ever merch obsession, and Toonami kept me hooked throughout my teen years.
I started playing Dungeons & Dragons a few years ago, and I still have sessions every week! Although she didn't play it herself, a good friend helped me overcome my shyness by driving me to a comic shop that hosted D&D meetups. I made a bunch of great friends after that, and we're all still enjoying the game together!
Cooking is something I do fairly infrequently. I'm decent enough to make food that tastes good, though I'm no chef. I can make cookies & cream ice cream entirely from scratch! The main thing that keeps me from doing it more frequently is having to clean dishes all the time, lol.
This is getting long, so I'll just list out the rest: TV/movies, reading, karaoke, YouTube, and deep philosophical conversations. I have an approach to research that involves using social media as a means of discovery; and I use news articles, data charts, and primary sources to learn about topics in depth. Then I forget 95% of it in a week!
If you think we'd get along well, feel free to chat with me! And if not, thanks for reading and have a wonderful day! I wish you the best of luck with finding your ideal partner. _^
