Synopsis of the game: An RPG in which you are a worker on a deep space research station 5 centuries in the future, and you experience the events of the shift as the station slowly descends into space hell. Along with the other players you are subjected to shapeshifting aliens, blob monsters, traitor informants, hostile bomb squads, and incompetent security. You fulfill your duties around the station and do whatever is necessary for the survival of you and your coworkers. The station is equipped with player-controlled AI and cyborgs, as well as a few mostly useless NPC robots.
I can confidently say that this game is one of the most addicting games I have ever played, having done 10 hour sessions on multiple occasions, and somehow it can almost make me forget about being an aspie. Within this game my social anxieties are entirely nullified, causing me to actually be one of the bolder people I know. It requires a great deal of on-the-spot thinking and player interaction, though almost entirely in the form of typing messages at little 2d sprites, yet somehow its incredibly liberating and has been translating into reality for me; I find myself taking more initiative and being quicker to come out and say things.
I guess this post serves two purposes: To tell anyone who hasnt heard of it about this game (available via Byond), and to ask if anyone else who plays it has experienced this. A warning though, some of the servers are VERY badly moderated.
TL;DR: In space, nobody can hear you burn the clown.
