Does a Biden 2nd term put us on a path to boots on the ground in Ukraine?

Post Body

Don't get me wrong. I'm 100% ride or die with Biden. I'm not bothered by his age. He is not the best example, but we need to get used to seeing ppl 70 still active in high-level positions. Ppl are living longer

I think Putin knows it. He is making his last push before the election. I think a USA/European coalition inside Ukraine is the only way out. It's time to stop one of these European wars at the beginning, instead of at the end (Im not advocating for it, just a hot take) .

Comments

I wouldn't say there's no chance but I'd put that chance very low.

Ultimately, the US doesn't care about Ukraine. We just don't. Ukraine is an excellent way to get Russia to grind itself to dust and even if Russia wins in Ukraine ultimately, that victory will be the definition of a phyrric victory and what America wants out of that situation will have been achieved.

There's no real point to putting US soldiers in Ukraine. We got what we wanted, why escalate?
