I don't have much time left, this is a warning to all survivors still out there.

There is something that you must know, there is a new zombie out there, one that we have never seen before. Based on observations and reports, most zombies merely kill for food, or to spread their virus. This new zombie is different. It attacks for fun.

Its attacks are random, I watched one run straight through a crowd of 20 of my people without attacking, then stop and literally tear someone to pieces. Detecting them is surprisingly easy.

1, they're loud. It's like being in a tornado.

2, they exude a... light. I don't know how to describe it, but it's a harsh, intense light.

3, it gets cold. An unnatural cold that seems to invade every fiber of your body.

I don't know how many of these zombies there are, but they seemed to come out of nowhere. I was on first watch the night these zombies attacked. They ignored me entirely and went straight for the ground team camp. 8 of my best men were shredded and ripped to pieces. I stayed put, hoping to all hell that they didn't see me.

I heard the screams first.

In the harbor I saw glowing shapes running across the water, making a beeline for the ships in the flotilla. They were in and out within a matter of seconds.

After the attack I watched the zombies move west, on the scent of something.

Two days later I got drunk. I got arrogant. I got attacked. I got bit.

I haven't got much time left, I tied a tourniquet around my arm which slowed the infection down. Consider this my final warning to the remains of humanity. Should you make it here, know that all known survivors have fallen.

I've decided to take the easy way out.

To all those out there, perhaps I will see you in another life.
