The evacuation went well, and myself and the rest of the land party have started making our way up the coast. We've maintained radio contact with the flotilla, and they've docked just outside the port of Dunedin. Everything's going well onboard, there hasn't been any conflict either on board or on shore.

Something strange is happening inland though, it feels like something is watching us. We set up camp just outside of Gore, it looks the same as it did before the apocalypse, a shithole, but it provides decent cover from the elements. I took first watch, to let the men rest after the long walk. We've had very little contact with zombies along the way, which isn't too concerning. We've been making sure to make as little noise as possible, kind of easy when every vehicle you run across is either fuel dry or too mangled to bother recovering.

Earlier today we spotted a zombie standing on a rock outcrop, it saw us, I'm sure of it. It was just standing there, observing us. There's something off about this whole thing, I'll update you guys later on.
