My f29 I’ve m29 been dating has had her uterus removed. A few questions.
Post Body

I’m m27, we have only known each other for about a month and a half.

Whilst being intimate I noticed a scar and asked if everything was okay, she replied yes there was a non cancerous tumour when she was 17.

She waited a week. Then told me she needed to say something. That something was her uterus was removed when she was 17.

I can’t imagine how tough that was and still is for her. I was supportive but perhaps too much so. As she stopped me and said I needed to think about it / that I should know for the future.

I have a few questions.

  1. Obviously she can’t have a period but is an egg still released. E.g hormone changes

  2. I will have another talk to her about it all now I’ve had some time to process it. As in the moment I blurted out that’s all okay. It doesn’t change how I think of you etc. (it doesn’t)

  3. Is there any other advice I should have?

I am aware it’s still early stages and I thanked her for being open. As I am with her.

She’s been a bit quiet yesterday. Understandably so we both are working but even still. I fear she may have thought this was a deal breaker for me.
