There are a lot of people out in the world who call themselves Christian. However, not all of them are actually following the Fatherās ways.
There are many traditions and rituals among the worldly people who claim to be Christian. Though let it be known: there are no rituals or regiments in Christianity.
It is a relationship, not a religion.
A religion is a [false] spiritual path that requires adherence to certain, set practices and rituals that are to be done in order for the adherent to be properly termed as a follower of that [false] spiritual path.
Thus, Christianity is not a religion.
There are no rituals. There are no sacraments. There are no required days of observance. There are no required tithes. There are no required sabbaths. You donāt have to do anything other than believe in Christ in order to be saved.
Now, to clarify (and some will take legalistic issue with this), even though all thatās needed is belief, would one truly be able to call themselves Christian if they professed a belief in Christ, had a repentance towards sin, and didnāt have anything to show for it? If good trees can only produce good fruit and if bad trees can only produce bad fruit, then can a good tree really be called a good tree if it is good yet produces no fruit? Didnāt Christ rebuke the fig tree that bore no fruit?
A true Christian is saved by their belief, but known by their fruits. If there are no fruits to show for their claims of belief, then can their belief truly be held as legitimate?
Imo, people who claim belief yet donāt show that belief in the form of āfeeding the poor, housing the homeless, visiting the sick/jailedā (these examples are just to paint a picture), they are no more a Christian than the Pharisees were.
There are many false teaching among mainstream Christianity, and this includes Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. Adherents of such faiths will of course disagree, but the fact remains: such sects hold to a faith that does not entirely line up with Scripture.
I created this community with the express purpose of showing people what true Christianity looks like.
It does not look like Catholicism. It does not look like Eastern Orthodoxy. It does not have a denomination. It does not require tithes. It does not require weekly worship in a brick and mortar building. It does not conform to modern social cultures. It does not bend its teaching for the sake of gaining followers.
If people need a twisted/bent gospel in order to believe, then they wouldāve never believed the gospel to begin with. We are told the the gate to destruction is wide and that many people will choose to enter through it and that the gate to life is narrow and that few people will choose to enter through it. We are not here to contort the Fatherās Word in order to āmove the gate postsā in an effort to try and save those who would reject the true message, the true gate posts that lead to life.
No, we are here to preach the true message. If it is received, then it is received, and that person is saved/properly edified. If it is rejected, then it is rejected, and that person is lost. Simple as that.
We are here for the ears that will hear, not the itching ears that want a comfortable scratching.
