Stop.
That's it, really. There's been an uptick in these questions and they're starting to get out of hand. They're two different but related problems so I'll talk a bit about what each of them is.
Soapboxing is when you ask a question with the specific intention of making a point. This subreddit is meant for good-faith efforts to learn about politics defined broadly. Every post should ask a question and should be an attempt to legitimately learn something. If your question comes with a built-in narrative, and especially if your follow-up comments indicate a defense of a pre-held narrative and not follow-up questions or things of that nature, you're probably soapboxing.
Loaded questions are those where the question contains a controversial or unjustified assumption. For example: "Why don't I see the DNC getting more blame for losing the election when they forced Hillary on us?" This question contains dozens of assumptions that are taken as fact. These types of questions are not appropriate here. Much like soapboxing, these questions imply a pre-held narrative rather than an honest attempt to learn something.
This subreddit is not the place for subjective political discussions. Check out /r/politicaldiscussion for that. While there is indeed a great deal of room for subjectivity in many answers here, ultimately this subreddit is for objective, substantiated answers to political questions.
Please report posts and comments that do not meet our standards. This community has excellent standards but it makes our job difficult if people complain about post/comment quality without reporting. Y'all know what kind of subreddit you want to have, so help us maintain it. Feel free to comment below with any questions/comments/concerns you might have regarding these types of posts or similar rules.
Thanks!
