Iโm 33, I feel really lost. How should one go about buying a car? How do you decide if you should get a cheap old car that might die on you or a new car? It seems like a really crazy time to buy any kind of car. Iโm overwhelmed. How to know what I can afford?
I make $58k a year, my rent is $1200, I have $24k life savings. I know, itโs a bummer. And I have no family safety net to fall back on financially. What is reasonable for me to spend? Would appreciate any advice.
Iโm thinking about buying a new Corolla that comes to 25k with taxes and all, put 6k down for monthly payment of $340 hopefully if I get the 2.9 interest rate. Does this work?
This is so scary, biggest life purchase since college.
