BF [30M] is angry with me [31F] that I am asking for him to commit to plans after passing of his dog.
Post Body

So I’ll preface with saying we live far apart about an hour and 45 mins away. I’m in school full time and work 3 jobs ( casual positions) he doesn’t work. We’ve been friends for more than 10 years but have only been dating for 5 months or so

Driving there is expensive but I tend to go there more than he comes here, two days before his dog was put down I ended up going there to say goodbye because she was a big part of my life too.

I asked him a few days after her passing when is he going to come here so we can hang as he mentioned before it would be a welcome distraction but I also live a busy life so I wanted to plan…. He says I was suffocating him and it’s not on his list of priorities

Now he’s saying he can’t commit to any of the plans we made prior ( like big events I rsvpd us too) and I’m just trying to be as understanding as possible but it’s hard not to be upset.

Am I in the wrong here?? How do I be understanding?

Thanks
