I’m a 39 year old wife, mom of 2, full time grad student and part time office worker. I’m in therapy for mostly self-esteem and anxiety issues. My therapist is lovely but has given me homework I’m having some issues with. She says I should find a relaxing hobby that’s just for me to escape my everyday life. I’m a perfectionist and that triggers my anxiety so most creative hobbies are out.
I’m also in an open marriage so she thinks it would be good for me to have something for me while my husband goes out with his other partner. Any hobby ideas or suggestions are welcome. Something out of the box or super creative would peak my interest more I think.
