I know a lot of women who can’t stand having their feet touched and would never date a foot fetish for that reason.

I’m not one of them, and I seem to attract men with this kink. I have shortly dated one who had a feet in nylon thing, I’ve had an encounter with one who likes feet in shoes, and I have been in a longer relationship with one who just liked feet, plain and simple, particularly the soles. I quite like it to be honest. It gives you the opportunity to be quite seductive in plain sight, with no one else knowing. And who doesn’t enjoy daily foot massages and feet pampering.
