What are some higher end lingerie sellers that women who would care to reply are partial to?

I have been buying either in person from a store in NYC or online at Intimissimi. The pieces are visually nice, but not always (not generally) made with the nicest fabric. She loved a silk slip I got her - it is _both_ sexy and comfortable. Other bodysuits, sets etc. - I get the feeling that she wears them happily for when we are having fun, but wouldn't otherwise. So I looked for more silk - but anything silk, or even modal, seems to give sexiness up for practicality and comfort. She does prioritize comfort and at least some practicality. However, she is buying that for herself from VS anyway - so that (for that alone) is not what I am looking for.

I have looked at BlueBella ("they don't make lingerie, they make art" said an online review) - but to me they are visually indistinguishable from what I have already been buying, and aren't too different price-wise. I have looked at Agent Provocateur - to me they seem bipolar between just meh and BDSM gear.

It would be easy if I can go with her and shop, but with our busy schedules shopping together is not a luxury we can afford. When we get that much time alone, we are going on a dinner / dance / workout / hiking date, not to a store. Plus she likes the surprise every few weeks.
