How do you feel about the term “tits”?
Post Body

I was having a linguistics-related conversation with a couple friends about this somewhat recently and we felt that:

“Breasts” sounds a bit clinical.

“Boobs” sounds a bit sophomoric

“Tits” sounds slightly crass

Whereas when talking about male anatomy, “cock” sounds a bit crass, whereas nowadays it seems like “dick” is pretty neutral.

So how do you feel about the term “tits”?

Edit: the context would be largely open-ended, but assume that it isn’t used in an intentionally derogatory or demeaning way

Comments

I say boobs when with my cutie lovers, breasts in everyday conversation with reg people, and tits when talking around/with dudes. So your “sounds” list is pretty spot on tbf
