In the US, women make up only 19% of all motorcyclists. In the UK, it's around 9%. The rest of Europe is between 5 and 15%. As an motorcycles person, I think this sucks. Now, motorcycling is already enough of a niche that I don't think I'll get meaningful insight if I ask everyone why they don't ride, but if you've considered hopping on two wheels, but never actually went through with it, I'd like to get an idea of why it never happened for you.
(And if you do ride, what made you decide to pull the trigger? What did you end up starting out with? Is it something you've kept up with? If you've gotten out of the saddle, what prompted that?)
