Iโm really curious to hear from all the amazing women out there! Was there a specific moment or experience in your life that shifted how you view being a woman? Whether it was empowering, challenging, or eye-opening, Iโd love to hear your stories and insights! ๐๐
I had my tubes removed in my 20's because I don't want children and before the surgery I asked how much it would cost since all other forms of birth control have cost me something. I'm Canadian and all other forms of birth control have cost me something. Permanent sterilization is free, 100% covered by the government. This is because it allows the government to control women, specifically women of colour- indigenous women if we want to really be exact. This surgery, and more invasive surgeries, were/are done without consent after child birth and for free so the government could do them without it being an issue. Genocide has never stopped in Canada.
