I (M) got into a fight with my roommate last night. I have a bit of a fat lip, a bit of a shiner, and a date tomorrow. should I cancel.

I'm too old(26) for this shit and I'm worried she will think I'm violent or a drunk. it's only the third date so she doesn't know me well enough yet to know this is a very odd occurrence. Also she something serious happened in her past that resulted in her not drinking a drop today; I didn't push for details because it was a first date, but I worry that she had a loved one struggle with alcoholism and that she might be sensitive to that.
