Not a single person would think my friend is a whore/slut, but she says she feels that way due to a very complicated love triangle that she's gotten herself involved in. It's entirely out of her control though. It just so happens that two men that she's shown affection for in the past have now come back into her life, bringing all the previously felt feelings back in full force. (I'm over simplifying, but that's all that's really relevant.)

However, she's a smart, moral and strictly monogamous person. As far as I know she's only had one sexual partner in the last 2 years, that being the boyfriend she just broke up with.

What specifically can I do to show her:

• How silly those terms are.

• How inappropriate those terms are to describe someone like her.

• That she's shouldn't feel guilty/shame for what essentially is out of her control.
