I’ve got a greyhound/black lab mix that I’ve had since I was 10. Over the course of maybe a year now, he refuses to go on walks. I can get him out once or twice a day now but that’s it. He’s been OK for me to carry him for whatever reason, so I’ve tried carrying him down the stairs to the front door so he can go out. Well now he growls and bites me. So now he’s started peeing in the house. He’s always been such a good dog, very obedient and loving. Is it time to start thinking about the possibility that he might not have a lot of time left? Obviously will have to go see a vet, but just really wondering if these tend to be like early warning indicators. I’m taking answers with a grain of salt for the sake of liability.
