Hello all,
I posted yesterday and we took her to the vet yesterday and they said it was likely that she either ate some bad food or something is obstructing her (like a string); they recommended a radiology but since it is something that my family truly cannot afford right now (we are barely getting by with putting food on the table and are a very low-income family), they decided to give her an anti-nausea shot and something else to ease her pain for now. They told us to continue to monitor and bring her in for a radiologist report anyway if her problems continue to persist.
She hasn't vomited since we last saw the vet. She pooped yesterday night, but we think she is a bit constipated as she hasn't pooped in the morning yet as usual. She's eating as usual, and her gums are light pink, but she's wheezing/coughing a lot and it's really concerning us. We are willing to make a huge financial sacrifice to get her to an ER and get her a radiology report right now, but considering that it would really, really hurt us, we really hope we aren't over-reacting. Is her symptom of wheezing/coughing/fatigue something that's normal for her treatment, or is it a sign that we need to bring her to the ER? Thank you.
