My cat is 17, she was struggling to breathe a few days ago and was acting lethargic. So we took her to the vet and they found fluid in her chest I believe ;(. They did some treatment and drained some of the fluid out but not all. They also gave me some medication for her. She also was struggling to poop and was vomiting a bit. I mentioned this to the vet and she said maybe to try some over the counter laxatives. She has been breathing better after the treatment and she’s more reactive. However, she is still not really active. I’m worried because today she woke up and was meowing/yowling before she threw up. I haven’t seen her poop except for yesterday a tiny little poop. She’s been urinating, but not really pooping. Should I try some mild laxative or something for her? Does anyone have some advice? She is now chilling on my bed, but still worried about her.
