My 2yo male cat was diagnosed with stage 1 chronic kidney disease, please help me pick the best foods to offer him based on his condition's diet restrictions.
Post Body

We do not have renal wet food available in my country, so the only option we have is to cook homemade soup-like meals to my cat. Currently he is having: Beef liver, grated carrots and grated pumpkin soup once a day and renal dry food twice a day. I want to make sure he eats low phosphorus foods, so I would love some guidance on these options:

Chicken thighs (skinless and boneless) Chicken breasts (skinless and boneless) Chicken hearts Ground beef Beef liver Any of these options would be combined with carrots, pumpkin, rice or egg white, it would be cooked to a soup-like consistency. I would love to know if feeding my cat some of these options as a wet food replacement is acceptable to manage his CKD.
