Cat + hair removal cream (sorta)
Post Body

Hello animal experts of reddit

Plz read before you grab your pitchforks. This is the first time I've used hair removal cream and I used it on my legs. The instructions said to have the cream on no longer than 7 minutes so I did my legs in sections (only had cream lower leg). As I was waiting for the 7 minutes, I put food in the cat bowls. Now my cat is a little old and she was sleeping so I wasn't expecting her to come out but she did.

She didn't rub hard against my leg with the cream on it but she did lightly stroke the side of her body against it. I immediately grabbed a cloth with water and scrubbed the side of her and did it again a little later on. Will she be ok? I don't have cat soap or anything so I can't fully scrub her down safely. And yes, I will be praying to the cat gods tonight for forgiveness.

TL;DR: Was using hair removal cream on legs, cat very lightly rubbed against leg, scrubbed her with a cloth and water twice, will she be ok?
