Sorta hypothetical question as I don’t have a cat of my own at the moment, but I foster cats/kittens through a local shelter. I’ve been wanting to adopt, but am waiting to find a cat that has a specific personality- I think I was quite spoiled with the first (and only) cat I owned, who passed away last February. While I’m not trying to replace her, she (and the cats I foster) gave me a sense of some traits I love
In particular, my girl loved to give kitty kisses- she was a little bit on the mouthier side in generally when agitated, but she’d give me these happy little licks on my hands when I was snuggling with her or petting her. Having this trait isn’t a dealbreaker for me but man, was it adorable ❤️
I’ve only met one other cat that does this! So I was wondering if this is a rare trait, and if it’s possible to train cats to give kisses
