Cough, wheezing and slightly labored breathing
Post Body

Species:Dog Age:7 Sex/Neuter status:F/Spayed Breed:Pit Bull / Beagle Mix

Body weight:65 ish lbs

History:Just moved to a new house. She was stressed and not eating. Took her to the vet 2 weeks ago to have her checked for underlying reasons causing a loss of appetite. Bloodwork and stuff came back clean. Vet said stress. A week ago, she gets this cough. She'll hack 2-3 times like she's a cat trying to cough up a hair ball, then she goes into this panting wheeze for a second. Doesn't ever last more than 1-15 seconds, but the scenario plays out every hour or so and her normal breathing sounds a little labored. I have video I can PM is requested.

She's eating, still not normally, but she's eating. No diarrhea or vomiting. Seems happy, but lethargic. She has no interest in climbing the stairs or going outside.

She has an appointment at the vet on Wednesday (day after tomorrow) with her regular Dr, but I'm concerned and wondering if this warrants an ER visit.

Duration: a week
