Adopted dog from Animal control, had all of his shots, currently dealing with Kennel Cough
Post Body

Species: Canine

Age: 3 years, as close as Animal Control could speculate

Sex/Neuter status: Neutered Male

Breed: Beagle Mix

Body weight: Last weighed by Animal Control at 21lbs

History: Was a stray, but got picked up by someone who took him in for approximately 3 weeks, but then surrendered him to Animal Control when he nipped at the owner. Animal Control vetted him, giving him all of his shots for DHLPP, Flea/Tick, Heart Guard, and tested Negative for heart worms.

Clinical signs: heaving 3-5 times with a cough at the end. His nose is dry, but it's also runny, if that makes sense. Lack of appetite, unless served hot food that's hand-fed. Very seldomly drinks.

Duration: I called Animal control, and they said he wasn't showing signs of Kennel Cough, nor was he having appetite issues. We adopted him April 25th, 2017. He was at Animal Control for 9 days, as per his records

Your general location: Chesterfield, Michigan.
