I just just noticed this yesterday evening and I'm worried it might be necrotic And something that needs to go to an emergency vet. It is located about an inch and a half from his rectum between it and The very base of his penis.
He is just over 2 years old, an English Shepherd, Male, I am in West Virginia.
The area is soft and I guess the word would be like malleable. Kind of like if you pop a blister or drain it and then it's not as firm. And it's Not as firm as the rest of his skin. Also has like a leathery look and is is only sensitive to pain at the area closest to his rectum, it's about 3/4 of an inch at the widest and about an inch long in an oval shape
Here is the pictures, two save the area because it still had hair growing out of it and one before I did in which the skin was like flaky like dandruff
