Hello! I’m in conversation with a pet rescue center for a dog.
He’s a Blue Heeler mix, 3.5 years old, weighing 48lbs and diagnosed with stage 1 of heartworms.
The rescue center says that he’s undergoing treatment and there’s 100% coverage for his treatment. I’m yet to find out more details about his treatment.
But I want to know if there’s a chance that the dog would die soon or how rapidly the disease might progress or be cured. I’m looking for generic estimates, not a timeline.
This would be my first dog and I don’t want it to die soon. So I’d like to know more about the disease and its cure.
