Pregnant dog losing weight
Post Body

Hello. My dog is pregnant, I believe due around July 20th. I have doubled her food and I can still see her spine and hips. I have heard to start feeding momma dog puppy food because it's more calories but I had one vet tell me NOT to do that with a foster dog I had. Is this true? I have been giving her calorie gel and keeping it warmer in the house (she looses weight when it's cold from shivering). What else can I do? Also side note, I hear to give tums after delivery for calcium. Any dosages, flavors, ect?
