We're going to the vet in the morning but it's eating at me, and if anyone has any experience with this, knows any specific questions to ask, or what to push for, please let me know so I can best advocate for my baby. She's 7, 53 lbs, great shape, healthy appetite, has some arthritis. A couple of days ago I discovered a tiny lump under her front right paw by her rib cage. It doesn't hurt her, it's not oozing, it's not terribly hard or terribly soft either. I know the only way to know is a biopsy. However the lump seems small enough to remove. We have a good vet, but should I go to an oncologist after tomorrow? Anyone recommend any in the northeast? What would you do if you were me? Any help is appreciated.
