Not vet availability until the end of the month. How can I help my cat suffer less?
Post Body

Name: Mouse Species: Cat Sex/Neuter: Male and yes Breed: Mixed shorthair tabby cat History: No history of any medical illnesses Clinical signs: When I checked 2 days ago gums were pink and respiration was at 20-30 Duration: 1 week Location: PNW California

We are waiting for our appointment but it is on the 26th of this month and he is not doing well. It started with him being a bit more lethargic and not moving around so much. He began eating quite a bit less. 2-3 days later the weight loss was noticeable. He is breathing oddly and as of yesterday he will not let us touch him or pick him up. We are so concerned and there is a lack of vets in our area. Im calling on cancellations everyday until then. I have included a video of his breathing but this was about 4 days ago and he has just started coughing.

What can we do to help him until we can get him into the vet? I have been mixing is wet food with a little bit of water to hopefully keep him hydrated.
